In this research, BoviLab (Bovine intended blood analyzer, BA-100A) was tested on two dairy farms located in Wisconsin, US and compared against wet-chemistry laboratory assays in the laboratory Prof. White.

By this study, it has been validated that BoviLab is a viable tool for on-farm blood quantification for diagnostic purposes and will increase the practicality of threshold recommendation and prediction modeling tools.
